condition, no dj; ...convened at Chicago, Illinois, January 13, 1879, by The President of the United Statesnupon the request of Major Marcus A. Reno, 7th U.S. Cavalry, to investigate his conduct at the battle of the Little Big Horn, June 25-26, 1876. Excellent copy of the most sought-after record of the Reno Court Inquiry. Graham, while in the US Army, discovered the original transcript buried in the National Archives. He copied from those records, making his own copy. He reprinted only 125 copies, using an old-fashioned copier. The text is in purple ink, on verso pages only. Very scarce. Signed and inscribed by Graham "To Robert H. Bramling, an earnest student of Custeriana. W. A. Graham,Colonel, USA, Retd. Pacific P{alisades, California, 7 May, 1951."
